Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Survivors, LLC ("we"), provider of The Quote Assist, handles personal data. For account and usage data of our customers, we are the data controller. For borrower data our customers upload, we process it on the customer's behalf to provide the Service.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, phone, title, NMLS number, login credentials) — to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
• Borrower lead data (name, phone, email, property address, loan details, texting consent and opt-out status) — to generate quotes and deliver messages for our customers. Basis: contract with our customer; legitimate interests.
• Messages and support requests — to provide customer support. Basis: contract; legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, quote link opens) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Signed agreements (signer name, title, signature, timestamp) — to keep a record of our contract. Basis: contract; legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host and operate the Service (cloud hosting, email delivery, texting/CRM, property data and AI processing providers).
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards where needed for legal or accounting purposes. Lead data is kept for the duration of the customer relationship and deleted or anonymised within 90 days after termination unless the customer asks otherwise.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To opt out of texts, reply STOP. To exercise any right, email jerad@emortgagecapital.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level data separation between companies.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and the Service working. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser settings, but you'll be signed out.
